I am racing my heartbeats; I am chasing my breath.
I wish for white roses wrapped on my wreath.
I am rebelling against my thoughts; I am resisting my dreams,
I am betraying my life, and now I am cheating death.
Hopes are high; ambitions are abundant.
I wish my efforts get famous and elegant.
I am countering with my pride; I am resenting my fears.
I am crusading my emotions; I am questioning the excellent.
Luck is frivolous; time is dark.
I wish for one tiny spark.
I am living on faith; I am feeding on prayers.
I am connecting no dots, yet I am leaving a mark.
