Unspoken words

In our quest for peace,
we gathered our pieces.
Her smile was all I asked.
Her glance was all I got.
Oh! That was a heavenly plot.

The skies turned blue,
the clouds, they flew.
Her joy was all I asked.
Her gleam was all I got.
Oh! That was worth a shot.

She dwelled into the mystic ocean,
the poison turned into magical potion.
Her words were all I asked.
Her poetry was all I got.
Oh Lord! I’d die happily by this thought.

The silence, though corrupted,
emotions remained uninterrupted.
Her serenity was all I asked.
Her bliss was all I got.
Oh Dear! That’s the life I’d sought.

The hourglass worked no more,
when she strolled at the shore.
Her company was all I wanted.
Her moments were all I got.
Oh Love! I guess I’ve spoken a lot.

I wish the night was young,
I wish the days were longer.
Her love was all I asked.
Her smile was all I got.
Oh Man! I think I am caught...
or not! Just a thought.

Is she shocked? Is she thrilled?
Oh! The silence will have me killed
Her embrace was all I asked.
Her world was all I got.
Oh! It’s the entire universe in a dot.
